what would happen if we did'nt have a spine?

We wouldn't be able to move or breathe or talk. Life would suck in general.

The human body, and that of other vertebrates rely on a cartilage, or bony spine to protect the spinal chord and to support the ribs, pelvis and neck. Without a vertebral column we would take on the form of invertebrates eg. jellyfish and worms.
Nervous ganglia and multihearts would be the order of the day, with basic excretory systems and perhaps an hermaphrodite, sexual leaning!
There's one good thing. You can regrow bits of the body which are chopped off!

We wouldn't stand, we couldn't walk, and life for humans sure would be different...that is if we could exist without a spine.

Your spinal cord wouldn't have adequate protection and your hips wouldn't stay in the correct position all in all you'd be in deep deep s*** and I think you wouldn't be long for this world.
