I say ask around because it is about finding the right person, not necessarily the right place. However, in my experience, when you go somewhere for the first time they do a great job. The more you go back, the less time they take to make it perfect cuz they are no longer trying to impress you. I don't know that they do this 100 percent consciously, because I do think that it is just somewhat human nature, but I have learned to always tip really well and that tends to help keep them on their toes, and doing a great job.

In addition, I have never had it done, but I have heard that getting them threaded is the best way to go. I just have nowhere around me that does it to try it....but if you do, I say go for it. Again, word of mouth is usually the best way to go.

Get them threaded, its a lot more precise than waxing. They can really form them out for you. It will hurt a little bit more but it's a lot quicker. You also need to find someone you trust and that you like how they work on you. It's a hit and mess situation. I have them threaded at the same place (Ziba), but if I don't use the same lady, they do them differently.

If it's your first time....go to the Salon and watch....then you may try to maintain them at home.

PS) First time it stings some.
