Why is it so hard to find a female young daschand in las vegas ,nv..I have been looking for the longest time to get a buddy for my border collie....Can anyone help me find one

Definitely check petfinder.com -- looks like there are several to choose from. There's even a Dachsie rescue group, there:

Although I don't see any listings for people in Las Vegas on the Dachshund Club of America website (the first place to look for a responsible breeder), there are many in Southern CA. It would be worth the drive to get a healthy, well-bred puppy!

You also can consider a rescue dachshund. Sites like Petfinder are a great place to search for dogs. Some rescues will even keep an eye out at a shelter they frequently pull dogs from if there is a particular dog you're looking. They want a home for every dog so if you meet their criteria and tell them what you'd like they might be able to help you out. You might also get the added bonus of the dog being already housetrained, etc if its the case where an owner surrendered their put because they were unable to care for them

Try going outside of your area you might have to drive but in the end it is worth it

petfinder.com has quite a few young dachshunds (make sure you are spelling it correctly - you'll get more accurate search results) listed in the area.

local shelter /petfinder /puppyfinder/ local paper / you could even go to ask.com and type in daschaund breeders in las vegas and im pretty sure you could find one
