If she is 16 and hasn't had any problems so far then let her enjoy the rest of her life having them, a few at a time. My cat enjoys cheese sometimes so he gets it sometimes. But only a little when he gets it. I don't over due it!

I let my cat lick some yogurt from the lid and for the next TWO days he had nothing but the runs. The diary we eat is harsh on the cats stomach. Try foods made for cats. Most should be easy on a cats stomach. My cats beg for anything I'm eating. So it's not just the cheese. They have a FABULOUS sense of smell and they are quite curious.

Probably the best is "straight" cheese. Popcorn can get stuck in her throat as can the Doritos.
The popcorn and Doritos have other flavor additives that are not particularly good for your cat and are also quite salty.

Moderation. At 16 she is doing very well.
I had a kitty that loved cheese as well, the stinkier the better. He could smell it from another room, then jump on us when we were having cheese and crackers and start licking a piece.
My present cat, Mr. Thompson, loves bread. Go figure.

My cats also LOVE cheese it is a natural thing in cats don't worry about your cat. Cats have very strong stomachs and can eat just about anything you feed them. Good Luck with your kitty.

Moderation is the key. Cats suffer obesity, heart disease, allergies, etc. just like we do, so be very careful giving a lot of this kind of food. They get spoiled also and then they're hard to deal with. Ya know....little kitty attitudes.

If she is 16 years old then i doubt any of that has harmed her...Let her have her cheese. Sounds like no problem to me.
