First, check the humidity level in your home, esp. in your bedrm. You do this with a gage. Usually it comes on a gage that shows temp, humidy, and barometric press. You need to keep your humidity level below 45% to keep dust mites and mold down. If your eyes, skin, and nose start to feel dry, use artificial tears, lotion, and saline nasal spray. You probably need to allergy proof your bedrm. I suggest a hepa (NOT an Ionizing) filter that will filter at least the square footage of your bedrm. Put it in there, turn it on 24/7, and, most importantly, leave the door closed! If the filter does 30 sq. ft, and you leave the door open, it forces it to try and filter a larger amount than it can. Go spring for new filters for your h/ac unit. Also, get a nice encasing for your pillow, or at least put it in 2 pillowcases. If a pet sleeps w/ you, wipe it down with a wet washcloth before bed to get loose dander off, and keep it out of bedrm the rest of the day. If you'll do this, and keep your bdrm as allergy free as poss., you'll be amazed how much difference it will make. Remember, you spend more time in that rm than anywhere else - approx. 1/3rd of your day. Also - rinse your nose out with saline spray freq. - it's like washing your hands - you get rid of a lot of allergens that way. Also - any areas with mold or mold potential - keep a light on and a fan on. Mold likes dark, damp areas. Hope this helps

Humidifier. Moisten those sinus and nasal linings. Try nasal saline sprays as needed, as well.
