There's a lot of things you can do with shrimp. Saute with butter, garlic, salt and pepper. Blackened seasoning is really good on it, especially if you're grilling it. If you have a favorite wing sauce you can use it. Seafood seasoning such as Old Bay is good. You can serve it over pasta with alfredo or clam sauce. You can use it as the meat in a rice mix like Zatarians or a pasta/sauce mix. The possibilities are endless.

do a shrimp boil. put half-lemons, onions, powdered seafood spice (if you look next to where you are buying the shrimp, there should be several options) in a big pot and boil until the shrimp is done. if you buy pre-peeled shrimp the flavor will be better, but you can still taste it in peel-and-eat shrimp.

You can season them with Cajun seasoning if you want to pan-fry them. If you want to boil them, my mother used to bring a big pot of water to a boil and add a ton of pickling spice.

Brine it. Thaw it in cold water, and soak it in salt water for an hour, in the fridge, before cooking.
