We talk, laugh, and just have an all around good time, we were lovers about 5 yrs ago, and since then continued to be friends. My feelings for him have now started to shift once again toward wanting more out of our relationship, I feel he still loves me as well. I guess the question is. Should I continue to proceed with the way I feel & let him know or should I keep it to myself & move on with my life. Is this fait or foolish?

I really like the wording of your question. It is very eloquent, almost like a poem.

The question you should ask yourself is, "Am I going to regret not saying anything?"

if the answer is yes, then let him know by giving subtle hints, or letting him know that your feelings are starting to change. "(Enter his name here), I think you should know that I'm starting to have feelings for you again, and I want to know if I'm safe being allowed to feel this way."

That will put the ball back in his court without the pressure or anxiety of you already "being in love with him again"

I hope it works out! Carpe Diem! Seize the Day!

Take a chance. We only have one life and we may as well live it too the full. He likes you or he would not have dated you in the first place and feeling don't usually come from no-where. If your relationship is a true freindship then it will survive even if he dosen't feel the same way. Don't hold on to your feelings, it will always leave you wondering what could have been and what could have happened. Take a chance, it may pay off. If it dosen't then you know his true feelings and can finally get some closure in your life and move on.

depends on he feels about you. you should just talk to him about it. ask him how he feels about letting the relationship go forward onto the romantic level. yeah its scary to open up but you have known him long enough to just do it. GOOD LUCK, hope it works out for you.

you can help what you feel. i was dating a guy for almost a year and then i met someone else and immediately i fell in love i could not help it i felt that way and it would not be fair to ignore my own feelings and i think that if you think he feels anything for you go for it you deserve to be happy.

If you're both unattached, I don't see why you wouldn't raise the question, if you are interested.
