It relatively bothers Muslims, who emphasize monotheism. I even have, countless cases, likened the concept of a trinity to 3 blindfolded adult males analyzing an elephant: one feels a leg, one a tusk, and one the trunk. Later they communicate the journey. needless to say, to that end, those are in basic terms 3 components of a single underlying actuality. yet I even have by no potential discovered any information to assume that there is any actuality in a god.

That always seemed so ridiculous to me when the bible clearly says that the almighty God has always been here and Jesus was created. They try to say that is the same God.

Colossians 1:14 by means of whom we have our release by ransom, the forgiveness of our sins. 15 He is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of all creation; 16 because by means of him all [other] things were created in the heavens and upon the earth, the things visible and the things invisible, no matter whether they are thrones or lordships or governments or authorities. All [other] things have been created through him and for him. 17 Also, he is before all [other] things and by means of him all [other] things were made to exist, 18 and he is the head of the body, the congregation. He is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that he might become the one who is first in all things; 19 because [God] saw good for all fullness to dwell in him, 20 and through him to reconcile again to himself all [other] things by making peace through the blood [he shed] on the torture stake, no matter whether they are the things upon the earth or the things in the heavens.
The point is he was created.
Revelation 3:14The beginning of the creation by God.
Revelation 1:1 a revelation by Jesus Christ which God gave him.
to show his slaves the things that must shortly take place.
acts 7:55 but he being full of holy spirit, gazed into heaven and caught sight of god's glory and of Jesus standing at the right hand of God.
There again two people.

I think that the idea of the Holy Trinity is that they are three aspects of ONE God....hence the Monotheism.....

But though I get that, I still don't "get it" if you know what I mean.

It isn't. The idea you speak of is a way for Christians to have seperate "Father-Son-Holy Spirit" while still having monotheism. When I was a Christian, it made no sense. It's a way of "having your cake and eating it, too."

Paul rewrote that after the Council of Nicaea so that people would see Jesus as God so that they would convert to Christianity. The Greeks were worshipping multiple Gods, and the Hewbrews worshipped ONE God so he found a way to get them both to believe. It's documented, so look it up.

The same way that an egg has three parts and each part is still called, "egg."

egg-shell
egg-white and
egg-yolk

For goodness sake, we are talking about G-O-D here. God being the Creator and Ruler of the Universe. If He feels like separating Himself into three entities (Or 50 for that matter) I think He can do that. And it doesn't matter how many ways He feels like separating Himself, each SELF is still part of the WHOLE!

Just like if you decide to chop yourself up into a few parts, each part would still be YOU (SINGULAR). Unfortunately you aren't God so if you decide to chop yourself up into three parts, that means you're just a DEAD YOU!
