We muslims believe in christ but we dont believe that he is Gods son nor do we believe he is dead or was killed (we believe that God replaced the body on the cross with a look alike and took Jesus up above.) SO what do jews believe about jesus? I am not asking this to point the finger at anyone I would just like to know more about other religions and clear up misconceptions.

Jews believe that the necessary conditions for the coming of the Messiah have never yet been met. I'm not sure exactly what those conditions are, sorry.
Jews see Jesus as a respected teacher, fine philosopher, good person. But not divine.
Judaism really doesn't spend much energy on the concept of the Messiah, anyway.

Jew believe that Jesus was a man who then claimed to be the son of God. They believe that a messiah will come but not that Jesus is the Messiah. The Tanakh would be the same as the Old Testament in the bible. Basically, they follow it and disregard the New Testament which is the story of Jesus Christ.Christians include this because they believe that Jesus is God, as do I.

You believe in Christ? Do you even know what the word "Christ" means?
And why would God purposely decieve people by allowing a lookalike to die on the cross?
Anyway, Jews believe the same as you, that Jesus was nothing but a nice man who taught about love. But they don't refer to Jesus as Christ.

John 3: The Words of Jesus Christ (God in the flesh)
3. "Verily, I say unto thee, except a man be born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of God."
4. Nicodemus saith unto Him, "How can a man be born when he is old? Can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born?"
5. Jesus answered, "Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter the Kingdom of God."
6. That which is born of the flesh is flesh; and that which is born of the Spirit is spirit.
7. Marvel not that I said unto thee, Ye must be born again."
16. "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
17. For God sent not His Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world through Him might be saved.
18. He that believeth on Him is not condemned; but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God."

Jews do not accept JC as a son of G-d. He was a prophet, teacher and Rabbi, but that's it. We don't deny that he existed, after all his birth is mentioned in Divrei Hayamim (Chronicles). But as to being a deity - no.

Some Jews believe that "messiah" is a metaphor for peace on earth, which is the sole purpose of the messiah.

Your belief will reserve you a place in hell with satan too!
Revelation 20:10 And the devil that deceived them was cast into the lake of fire and brimstone, where the beast and the false prophet are, and shall be tormented day and night for ever and ever.
Romans 10:9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Your post is calling God a liar. Which makes you a liar. I will be praying for you.

I don't mean to be rude at all to muslims but your theory all by itself sounds stupid! How could Jesus had replaced the real son of god on the cross?
