What is the exact name of a procedure of withdrawing blood from body? This should be like venipuncture.?

I have transliterated form as given above but this appears to be wrong. Could you tell me the exact English name of this procedure?

Venipuncture is correct.

The term phlebotomy seems to cover it all. Venipuncture is taking blood from a vein. Arteriopuncture is taking blood from an artery. There may be other terms used by morticians.
