first thing you need to do is check the bag of your dog treats and make sure that it isnt full of sugar. my mom just had this problem with her new pups. second. boxers are VERY VERY high energy dogs so you need to get her out EVERYDAY for a LONG time to let her run and run and run, 3rd. Buy her a KONG you can get it at any pet store, its a hard rubber hollow toy that you can fill with peanut butter or cheese and dog treats and give it to her when you need a break to be with the baby you can also freeze them. they are wonderful because the dogs have to use their tounges to get the goods out. I swear by them. my dog gets soooo excited when he sees me breaking out the kong. practice commands with her like SIT and down and stay. I taught my dog to stay by making him sit. I take 2 steps back. if he moves I pick him up and put him right back in his spot. then say stay...2 steps back repeat if he moves until NOW I can get up and leave the room and he stays there. the biggest thing you can do is maybe find a dog park around town to wear her out during the day so she isnt so hyper around the baby.

She should go to training classes. She's still a puppy and therefore has loads of energy. Take her for two long walks, morning and night, and give her loads of time to run around in the backyard, too. You will need to learn how to train her to be calm before the baby comes, or you'll never have time to do it. Boxers are great with kids, just make sure she's trained!

Have the dog become very proficient in down. Down is for everything. Dog gets up - immediately put her in down. You get up and she gets up too - immediately put her in down. When she's in the house she should always be in down.

Also she needs about 30 min - 1 hour of exercise ALL OUT RUNNING every day including her walks.

Get some of that excess energy off of her and she'll be better.

Check the protein content of her food. Make sure she's eating a premium brand. No by products and no corn. Feeding your dog to much protein and junk is like giving a kid lots of candy.

Good Luck

You go to an obedience school for starters.

Head to the book store and grab a book called DOG LISTENER from an Author called JAN FENNELL this will also help you.

Boxers act like puppies pretty much their whole lives.
