No, you could go to jail for that. Even if you just do something small itlle be like you were an acomplice on the death. Your freind is obviously trying to get you to help her/him out of it people who are seriouse about suicide dont tell no one they dont want anyone trying to stop them. Id Get some professional help but the risk is that it might get that person to think you betrayed them. The person is crying out for help, help the best you can .

Best of luck.

Firstly I would say no and secondly I would try to speak to my friend to find out what could be that bad that they don't want to live anymore. I would then talk it over with them trying to console and council them for a while. If I think that my words weren't any help I would make a deal with this friend of mine to bind them into seeing someone professionally and I would volunteer to go alone with them. I think that if you call yourself a friend then you should do this.

No, that is a crime, and Dr Jack went to jail for helping people commit suicide. For you it would be Murder 1, that is no fun.

Absolutely not!!!! You & your friend need to think about the devastation that his suicide would leave behind! Not just the heartache and devastation to his family but all the expenses of his death: medical, funeral, etc. My son killed himself, emotionally I died with him. I have cried everyday since. I don't believe I will know a day without heartache. And his children will never know their father. You better get him the help he needs, before he destroys his whole family. Please!!!!!

If they asked politely then no. If they asked me in an abusive way, I might offer a suggestion or two.

I assume you are talking about sleeping pills, or something less violent... lets ask it this way. what is she asked you to run her over with a car, or take an axe and chop off her head, or light her on fire? would you do it? What you are doing does not change by how you do it...
