I'll be 17 yrs.old and my boyfriend will be 19 yrs.old when my son is due. If I put my boyfriend name on my son birth cerificate....do I still have all rights and stuff to my baby, or they will give it all to my boyfriend? because im 17?

You will still have rights. Age does not determine who the baby belongs with.

You still have more rights than he does. In most states when a teen has a baby she is basically considered an adult because she has to make legal and medical decisions for her baby.

The baby is yours no matter what. If your boyfriend would take you to court over it later you would still have rights to your baby. No matter what, unless they could prove that you weren't taking care of the baby that baby will always be yours, and his too.

no when u have a baby u are considered emancipated which means u are an adult regardless of ur age... it doesnt matter how old u are and that the father is older ok??

The child is yours, but he does have legal rights if you put his name on the certificate, and if at any time he finds you unfit, he can take fight for full custody.

No, you're the mother. It doesn't really matter what anybody tells you, you are that child's mother, they can't take the baby from you. :) I promise.

the mother automatically has all the rights until sued

It is your child you will have the rights but he will also be entitled to visitation rights.
