She's interested in the toilet, but not interested in potty chair. She's 22 months so I haven't pushed the issue. Plus, I'm a little nervous about putting her in a toddler bed cause that will give her the freedom to move around at night. Help please.

I wouldn’t put her in a toddler bed until she’s climbing our of her crib and if she’s already climbing out of her crib then she’s already roaming around at night (potentially).

Some kids will train better on the toilet than on the potty chair. If she prefers the toilet then get a kid-sized toilet seat that will just sit on top of yours and don’t bother with the potty.

Don’t push her to train if you don’t think she’s ready, just offer encouragement and if she asks to go then let her.

My son started sleeping in his toddler bed at 2 1/2 years old, he loves it from the first time I tried to put him in it.He's 3 1/2 now and I can't get him potty trained yet. That's a good age to try and start potty training a girl, as for the bed wait mabey a few more months.

Both my kids went into a regular bed as soon as they started climbing out of the crib...which was at about 16 months old. Every parent has to deal with little ones getting out of bed. You are actually real lucky that at almost 2 years old, she still does not climb out.

Forget the potty chair, get an insert for the toilet.

22 Months is a bit too soon for a toddler bed. However, since she is a girl, now would be a good time to try and potty train. Just don't force the issue cause you will become very frustrated. Children will sometimes figure it out for themselves when they are ready. My son took months, but that was because he wasn't ready. It is very acceptible for them not to be trained sometimes til the age of 3.
