my tax preparer put the wrong routing number how can I still get my check electronically. what will happen?

You will not be able to get your refund electronically. once the bank sends the IRS a notice that the account does not exist. the IRS will send a paper check in the mail, this will delay the refund up to 2 weeks.

If they are unable to automatically deposit it they will just physically mail you the check.
