When I was born my father was 41 and my mother was 19. To make it even tougher than that my mother is white and my father is black. To make it even tougher I was born in 1972. Needless to say They have been together for 35+ years now and are still happy in love together. My father now 75 and mother now 54. As long as you love eachother love will beat all the odds.

I'm 24 and my Fiance is 34, So a 10 year differance.When i met him i had no idea he was so much older and as i got to know him and like him i was attacted so when i found out his age it wasn't so hard to cope with. My Dad didn't like it at first, but he makes me happy and we have alot of fun together. We've been together 2 years now and are going to be married in july. I'm happy as ever and everyone who said it would never work were wrong. Go with what you feel is right. Age does not determine maturity. And the average groom is 5.3 years older then his bride. I saw that in the newspaper the other day. LoL I cut it out and sent it to my dad he just rolled his eyes. lol well good luck!

Depends, my gf is 9 yrs older than me and I'm 35. If you're young like in high school or something then it's not right and the guy could end up in jail.

Well this answer definitely depends on how old you are! If you are 15 and he is 23, that's an issue! But if you are 30 and he's 38, not so much!

I don't see where the problem is, unless you are a minor and he's not, then yes, that might be a problem. But my boyfriend is 7 years older than me and it's working fine.

Depends - are you 40 or 14? The older you get the less it matters. I'd say if you're not at least 25 forget about him.

mine is 11 yrs older than me and the best relationship i ever had.. if you are underage, forget about it. if not, go for it.
