You have been seeing each other for over six years and have children but no marriage? Guess what? You allowed him all your sugar without having to pay for it.

If they had cyber sex then yes it is cheating. He should respect you and your relationship and not do that.
If he is only chatting and viewing a webcam then that will have to be your call. You know what is acceptable in terms of your feelings.
I guess if i was in your shoes, i would make sure that his chat with her was strictly friendly and no sexual stuff going on. Then tell him you expect him to be honest about everything. Then, trust him until he gives you reason not to.
Its about the only thing you can do. If you completely forbid him to have contact with her, he will resent it and it will cause problems.
Just dont be too niave. Just because she doesnt live around here, dont mean she cant visit if need be.
Keep your eyes and ears open girl. This is a touchy one.
Good luck.

Girl, I would be pissed! I say that it is.. That was the past and he just needs to forget about that girl.. He has a family already with you and he doesn't need to be talking to his old friend. I think you should put a stop to that before things get out of hand and then it would be too late. They shouldn't even webcam eachtother. Yes I consider it cheating.

Well, of course it's cheating, because they know each other.
Anonymous cyber is a little more grey b/c it can only turn into something "real" until the parties identify themselves to one another.
You need to get a handle on his committment to you and your committment to him.
Episodes like this in a relationship often point to a bigger problem.

If there is sexual parts to their cybering/camming, then yes it is cheating. It is hard to tell though with your insecurity. Be sure to be very explicit how this makes you, and what you are likley to do if you think he's cheating or 'playing around' on you. Ask him what his feelings are on this girl. Try to get over your feelings of holding the past against him, or he may get the idea to turn to her, from you. Good luck darlin.

Heck yes that is cheating! He can think it all he wants and masterbate, but for him to accually make contact with her and tell her what he thinks, yes it's cheating, because if she was closer to him, they would probably go further than cybering.

If it's breaking the rules you've laid out for your relationship, then yes, it's cheating. If you tell him that this is a problem, and he doesn't stop, then it's cheating. However, if you've left the possibility of it being "ok" open and not confronted him about it, it is not cheating, especially if he's telling you about it freely.

in my perspective, I think it 's kind of cheating because you never know what they've discussed on the internet between them and any type of extra attention other than platonic things are being discussed is cheating morally but, they haven't had sexual intercourse but, they could have had cybersex and yes again I think that is cheating and you have a web cam!! get rid of him
!!!! he is disrespecting you and your children or to avoid heart break try to find the pictures he sent her from the web cam
