cause most tissue paper is recycled from all sorts of places and dogs with their much more acute sense of smell than us, can smell all the edible products & odors trapped in the paper during the recycling process, from food to feces, it's all in there when U buy it.

Because it's fun and entertaining.

My pup has torn a 24pk of toilet paper to shreds in the backyard--I'd like to think he had some fun while doing that.

LOL - I've never heard of this problem! Maybe you need to switch to Charmin :) Is he eating chunks off the roll or just unwinding it?

Just make sure you leave the toilet seat up so he can wash it all down!

Because it tastes good! no really tissues and other paper products are made out of wood, or plant-like material. Some doge eat these things for digestive reasons. ....Or your dog just likes to torment you because he thinks its funny!

my little poodle when he was a pup did that. Come home and see it all over the place. not just big chunks had to be in tiny weeny peices everywhere. In my case he had no one there when I was at work and he made up his own fun even though he had his own room with toys. Of course they never want what you give them they want something else. hehe.

dogs are just after attention and effection! if you tell the dog off after its done something and send it to its basket pretty soon it should get the idea that why they have done was naughty..

My doxie is notorious for this! For him, it has to do with the prey drive. We can't even give him traditional stuffed toys because all he will do is disembowel them in a heartbeat.
