Where is this being said, and why?

I'd prefer a Muslim to answer this question, please.

The Saturday and Sunday people are the Jews and Christians (those whose Sabbath are those days).

My question is not stupid. It has been said. Now what I'm wondering is, who in hell said it and why?

I'm not a muslim, but to inform those who are asking since you didn't explain it: The Saturday people are the Jews.. they hold their Sabbath on Saturday. The Christians have their "sabbath" (although they do not follow sabbatical laws) on Sunday.

This refers to the Jews and Christians, Saturday being for the Jews and Sunday for the Christians. I'm a Muslim and i havent heard of that saying anywhere. Jews and Christians have every right to live. And this is a Muslim telling you this. Idiots.

Apparently in Free Republic and at Arutz Sheva, both sites that have a bias against Islam. I looked for another, Islamic source, and could not find it.

Anyone can say "As they say in their sermons – "First the Saturday people, then the Sunday people." and not give sources or cite specific examples of this being said.

Frankly, I don't see how this article jibes with this news report of 3 MILLION Mulsims--here's a portion of this article and a link:

Pilgrims, many of whom left work early to join the prayer, streamed into the site stretching 190 acres along both banks of the river. As the crowd overflowed the space, people arrived at the site on packed boats or climbed on to the rooftops of nearby buildings.

The annual gathering shuns politics, which have become increasingly bloody in Bangladesh, and focuses on reviving the tenets of Islam and promoting peace and harmony. Participants discuss the Quran, Islam's holy book, pray, and listen to sermons by Islamic scholars from around the world ...

Most of the times we don't get what we prefer. I don't believe anyone was killed; I just a Jesus person any day of the week. He doesn't die. Isn't it wonderful.
