both will strengthen the abdominal muscle. neither have an effect of fat loss in the mid section. you can't spot reduce fat stores through exercise.

neither.... you should just get in the gym and perform abdominal exercises without the use of gadgetry.... go to a search engine and type in "abdominal exercises" your sure to find enough answers there
