Wanting to book my driving theory test and was just wondering if you pay when you book it or after you have taken it

you pay when you book it...good luck with it!...ask your driving instructor for help as my husband is an instructor and he lends out the pc rom for the theory support and also ya hazard perception test.

All the questions and answers are in the DSA (Driving Standards Agency) approved book. At the test centre these question might be presented in a different way. For example, say you had to select 3 correct answers for a question in your book. Well the same question could come up at the test centre but you may have to select 5 correct answers instead of 3. Or the same question might come up, in your book you had to choose 4 answers but at the test centre this could be choose 1 answer. There are no curved balls, by that I mean there are no "new" questions that will catch you out - as long as you are using the latest book and up to date - so using a 2013 book would be better than using a 2009 book as motoring legislation changes sometimes. At the end of the day if you revise it and learn it properly then it will give you some belief and confidence to over-come your anxiety. The questions are straight forward once you get the hang of it, it starts to make sense so keep practicing would be my advice. That way you will not only be ready for the test but for real life situations. Also, get your hands on the CD if you can do some live mock tests so you can identify any weak areas of knowledge.

before. I went into the test center drunk and still passed but it did take me 3 times to pass the driving test!!!

It might depend on your local DOL's policies, but I paid afterwards. But then again I do live in a little town where everyone knows everyone.
