There is no cure for chronic Hep B infection. There are, however, several medications that can control the virus and help prevent liver damage, like entecavir and adefovir.
But your saying that you're HbSAb+ doesn't mean you have chronic Hep B. HbSAb positivity just means that you've been exposed to or vaccinated for Hep B. If you are HbSAg or HbCAg positive, that is reflective of chronic infection.
You should make sure your doctor is knowledgeable about Hepatitis infection. If you don't feel he/she is, you should seek the care of a board-certified infectious disease specialist.

people: do not tell someone there is not a cure for HBV-depending on certain factors regarding HBV, we are seeing those who did antiviral treatment (interferon and antivirals) as having a sustained viral response, beyond a year post chemo if you still have a sustained viral response, your considered cured.
as for the question? yes, it is possible to have an SVR with antiviral chemotherapy....ask your doctor about treatment, he or she can only decide if you would be a canadite for treatment as there are specific criteria that would assume you would do well on treatment with a possible sustained viral response.
