Did you file a change of address with the post office? If you did, they'll be forwarded. If you didn't, they'll probably be returned as undeliverable. If so, you'll need to give the payer your new address so that they can send them to you.

You should contact your local Unemployment office and inform them of your new address. By now (or very shortly) it should have been sent back to them.

I would also make sure your new address is listed with the POst office (if you have already submitted a mail forward).

I am not sure if they forward federal or state mail, so you may just want to check on that.

I was in the same situation. Contact your local unemployment office. Explain this to them. I did so and they told me exactly where they mailed it and also since it went to the wrong address they let me come and pick up a copy of my 1099G.

contact the state agency that handles the unemployment compensation and confirm your address with them.
