Those of you familiar with what was going on with Sabbath the white pit that was wrongly accused of attacking a woman and her husky. My husband and I along with a few of our supporters went to the animal hearing to dispute the case and the entire hearing we were not heared they told us the only thing that mattered was what the victim and cop said. One woman on the panel listening to our case had an inch thick file in front of her and told us " I don't read this stuff, I go by what is said here today." They stuck to their decision to declare him "dangerous", so my husband and I have done the hardest thing we have ever had to do, on Jan. 16 we took him and had him euthanized. The vet we went to was wonderful and gave us as much time with him before and after, we had him cremated and are waiting for enough $$ to pick up his ashes, soon i hope! With all this said, I wanted to say Thank You to everyone who replied, you have touched my families hearts in this time of tragedy.

Wow that is really a horrible thing... people are supposed to be unbiased when judging a matter of the law. Sounds like you and your dog got the short end of the stick because of the media propaganda. I am sorry for your loss.

I'm very sorry to hear about what happened to your dog. I don't know about you, but if that happened to me, I would be fighting mad. The woman was only in it for the money; she's not a true dog lover, no matter what she says. I have a rottie, and she's one of the sweetest dogs I know, and if somebody ever accused her of something she didn't do and I had to have her put to sleep, I don't know what I would do.

Unbelievable...I am so sorry about your dog. If that happened to mine, I would become a fugitive, both me and my dog. I just couldn't have the heart to end my dog's life. I am so sorry you even had to think about going through that, let alone actually following through with it. That other dog owner should know how it would feel to have a pet put down. She could've been satisfied with some simple corrective actions only. Again, I'm sorry.

I am so sorry, that breaks my heart. Pitts don't ever have a chance of survival. I am not familiar with what happened however, if there were 2 dogs in a room and someone was attacked and not anyone was their to see it, who would be accused? The pitt of course. I would love to help and donate to you in regards to his ashes. Please email me with your address.

Well, it just goes to show you that there is no "liberty and justice for all" as it is said in the pledge of allegiance to the flag of the United States of America. So if in the future, you decide not to say it, I will understand. Incidentally, although I do say the pledge, I refuse to say "one nation under God."
