I AM PERSONALLY REPORTING THEM FOR ABUSE (USING MULTIPLE PROFILES AVATARS)

That's exactly what their trying to do. Anytime somebody constantly brings up racism in their Q&A's, they are looking for a reaction. These people really need to get a life and let the decent people on here do their thing. These people probably don't even have any real interest in boxing, their main objective is to start up trouble. I've called out the trolls on their racist crap dozens of times, and they can't take it when a little heat is thrown back at them. They had some of my responses deleted but i don't care, i'm not going to let anybody degrade my race and talk negative about minorities when it's so not called for. This is a boxing forum, and that kind of crap has no place in it. I applaud Smitty for calling them out. And to a_p_ribaf, you must be linked with one of the trolls if you get so offended by this. We all have a responsiblity to report this kind of crap! Why do you think they have it set so you can report abuse? And you want to talk about someone being a kid, well, i've read some of your stuff on here and i see where you've often went into profanity laced explosions when someone doesn't agree with you or accuses you of something. That doesn't sound to mature to me, so maybe it's you who's the little boy! This should be a forum where we all can agree or disagree about boxing, not a forum about racism and bashing people for the color of their skin. Yahoo knows what is going on here and they are trying to correct it. I hope they do.

a_p_ribaf, nice try, but i have more boxing knowledge in my pinky finger than you have in your whole body. And my Stooges question was meant to poke fun at some the the ridiculous stuff that the trolls post. I guess if you were as smart as you claim you are, you would've figured that out. Guess you're not that smart after all. And as far as you not responding to my Q& A's, am i supposed to care? Am i supposed to lose any sleep? Get over yourself buddy, you're not that important on here. You sound like a little brat who throws a tantrum when he can't have his way. Be a man! And what fighters have i bashed based on their skin color? James Toney? Last time i checked, he was black just like me. I bash fighters that i don't like based on their talent and attitude. Can't stand Floyd Mayweather, oh, he's black too! See how stupid you sound? I don't like the heavyweight division right now because the fighters are just not that good, has nothing to do with race. Go to my Q&A's and find me one racial remark that i've ever made on here. You couldn't find one at gunpoint! Ricky Hatton is one of my favorite fighters, oh, he's white!! Get your facts together before you talk junk and make yourself look foolish. And while you're at it make it 5 years instead of 2 because 5 years of not hearing from you on this forum would be like winning a 50 million dollar lottery, i'd love it!

After reading the response by (me), I decided to look into this clique problem he/she mentioned. To my shock and surprise I found it was true. As a matter of fact several members of what I perceive to be the biggest of these "Cliques" are represented right here responding to/asking this very question. If you don't agree check out how many times these users hand out "Best Answer" to one another, rather than an obviously much better reply or a reply that was given sooner and includes all the same points that the "Best Answer" hit upon. Even worse on trivia related questions, ones that you'd assume the first person with the correct answer would receive "Best Answer" once again the vote goes to a clique member. This in my opinion is a sure sign of people with absolutely no concept of right or wrong. Imagine if TV Game Show hosts sat around while contestants buzzed in to answer a question but were ignored because the host waits until his friend or some woman shaking her tale feathers buzzes in. LMAO, it's outrageous and you'd never see that kind of childish behavior being displayed because it wouldn't be tolerated. In short, if you want to complain about unfair practices like multiple avatars (BTW an avatar is a picture so the question comes across ignorant to begin with) why not discuss a practice you obviously like to promote?

I just wish people were allowed to say their opinion without someone coming along and criticizing it in a rude, demeaning and destructive manner. I am probably guilty of this myself, so if I have done anyone wrong or projected ill will I apologize sincerely. I hope others who have/will behave that way will also come to realize it serves no purpose.

I also feel compelled to agree with the comment made about "cliques". This is a true statement in my opinion. Often times a person is not given the respect that his/her answer deserves, voted as the 'Best Answer" when it clearly was.

Instead the vote for "BEST" is given to an answer which is good as well but is clearly not AS GOOD as the person who got ostracized. And it is being Ostracized because that individual is not a "regular" or doesn't always agree with the general populace of the "clique". I truly wish that would stop.

As adults and fans of the sport, we should conduct ourselves in a manner that demonstrates we know what "fair play" is. Giving out the "Best Answer" vote to a buddy or friend, even though you knew his/her answer wasn't the best displays to me a person who has not principals.

Think about this, what if every judge in this great sport started scoring rounds for the fighter who they happen to know or like. This fighter is dropped twice in a single round but, since the judges like him they still score the round 10-9 in his favor. I know this analogy is a bit much, but don't let the message allude you, it's the point of playing favorites. And its unsportsmanlike, no matter what venue it rears its ugly head.

Sorry if I offended anyone during my time on the soap box. It was not my intention. I really hope things change in the Boxing section. It seemed great for awhile. Thanks

I'm sure there are, but there is something else thats bad too. It's the cliques. The small group of people who instantly gang up on anyone with an opinion different from theirs. They can dominate forums and make many people reluctant to post. It gets sickening sometimes to see a group all smug patting each other on the back. Not pointing any fingers, but it's just something else that should be avoided. They're both bad.

They could if we let them, but all we basically have to do is ignore their questions and answers when they are racist and stupid and report them when they need to be reported. But you know Smitty, that's how it is in life, bad people always want to ruin everything for all of us good people and we just can't allow them to. Some people just aren't happy in life so they try to make sure that other people aren't happy either. I think that defines the Trolls. I feel sorry for them.

yahoo boxing lol, get out in the real world

Smitty, I wasn't going to answer this question at first man, but now that I think about it, I really need to tell you a few things.

First of all - "troll". When I came up with this term on yahoo boxing a couple of months ago I meant it not to be insulting, but fun and cool and to perhaps make a joke or two to point out the arrogance of some people. And now you've gone and ruined that, thank you very much.

Secondly, man you have absolutely no idea what this word is supposed to mean here, do you? Because if you did you would, in fact, find your self to be one of the biggest trolls on this forum. Most of the answers that you give pretty much look like this: this guy would beat that guy, 7th round TKO; both these guys are good, but I pick this one to win a decision; this guy is going to be the best heavyweight over the next few years because, after he becomes the undisputed champion, he will get the American citizenship and bring titles back where they belong; I'm glad that an American fighter beat a European fighter.......... and so on, and so on. You never try to explain your self, you post no legitimate arguments what so ever and therefor basically the only apparent reason why people should read your answers and take them into consideration is because "bible of boxing" said so. Well, you know what, this here is a damn teaching aid for all generations how to troll properly my friend. This is trolling at its very best.

And finally, I agree with you. There are people on this forum with multiple profiles which serve them only to ask provocative questions and bring up racial issues that are non existing in real boxing world and sure don't need to be brought up here. Believe me, this doesn't make me happy either. But this is the matter for moderators to deal with, not you. I don't know who died and made you yahoo police man. You're out here blabbering about this all the time like you're some kind of figure of authority to rest of us and this is starting to get on my damn nerves, to be perfectly honest. .
I am going to say one more thing and if I'm wrong here I most sincerely apologize - but after reading many of your answers and things that you write here and carefully considering how you behave on this forum, I can not help but reach one inescapable conclusion that "bible of boxing" is, in fact, some fourteen year old kid with too much time on his hands and nothing better to do then pis* a lot of people off. Is this true man?

avenger, you need to know your place little boy. Why don't you show us some of your boxing knowledge and fact that you deserve to be among us before you go around cirticizing and calling people names.

Lovely Lady Vette, dear girl, as much as I try to, it's impossible for me to even begin to take you seriously, and it's not worth my time responding to any of your comments. From everything that you have written here in the past it's quite easy to conclude that, unlike your friends, you have almost no boxing knowledge, and on many occasions you are unable even to engage in reasonable, civilized human conversation. All you ever do on Yahoo Boxing is insult people and bash good fighters, based on their skin color, and now you accuse me, of all people, of being a racist. I will say this once again, I am linked to no one on this forum, unlike you, I don't hate or disrespect any fighter regardless of their race or nation and every time I give an answer here I speak what I believe is the truth and try to explain my self the best way that I can. Any person who doubts this statement can just go through my answers and see this for him self. And now all of a sudden I'm being accused of such awful things by you, a girl who asks things like: " The Current Russian Heavyweight "champs" vs. The 3 Stooges, who wins..." and is still for some reason allowed to post on this forum. You know, this would be funny if it wasn't so pathetic. But, like I said, I will not waste anymore of my time responding to your nonsense. I'll speak to you again in 2 years when you grow up a little bit, show some respect and actually learn something about this sport. Until then, I wish you well.
