What should be the platform of Israel? If Israel is the nation of G-D, what should Israel represent?

That is the Big question now isn't it.

The problem is in the interpretation of G-d's will right. The Torah seems to be clear about G-d's promise of land for Israel, and there were times when he commanded the Israelites of old to drive the non believers from the land. Does that still hold true today? Does it justify pushing Palestine out of Israel? Or annihilating neighboring Muslims as a defensive measure.

I say if there is significant debate regarding G_d's will then you cannot employ policy based on it.

Excessively vague questions.

Israel's platform is none of my business.

Who said Israel is the nation of G-d?

Israel is doing fine, resisting numerous and evil foes. If Israel were harsher towards her enemies, that would still be okay with me.

If Israel stops killing Muslims, then there will be many more murdered Jews. If the Muslims stop murdering Jews, then there will be peace and progress.

It's been sane and trustworthy since it's beginning. That's really the main thing.

I always get a kick out of small it is, and yet the Arabs over there hate the Jews and want to drive them into the sea. Look at all of their plenfiful land on the map on this link, and then get out your magnifying glass and see if you can find Israel.

This is mostly for the clueless, and for the vast majority of people under 25 who don't understand a thing about Israel and the Middle East.

This would be like the United States whiing and complaining about the state of Rhode Island, for whatever reason.

I think religion is primative and that if people insist on it, the least they can do is not kill eachother over it.

Christians are guilty of this too.
