i know how you feel nothing passes me. sometimes you wish you don't know but you do and you just have to learn to deal with the knowing what you know

We only have our self-created and managed perception in our minds, as well as our relationship to what we are perceiving. What is ignorance to you? It, as well as the state of mind you may ascribe it, is merely an inner process that you can master.

You can modify both your perception of the world/anything, and your personal relationship with it.

It all depends on your motivation. Want bliss, make it. Practice proactivity in your life, not passivity-you will be in control of it and not at the mercy or effect of your internalised perception of the world. Is obtaining (impossible) ignorance motivating for you? Or is there some other stuff that's more important? It's your call.

You could always compile a list of those things that you are ignorant of, I'm sure we all have thousands of things. With every new discovery, if you retain your ignorance, you'll rapidly gain more ignorance, except you'll lose the ignorance of how much you don't know.

There are methods for deletion of experience, memories etc, but this does seem a drastic option. Again, your life and you're free to manage your mind however you see fit. This is not meant to be harsh, I have lost some memories of my life, good and bad, due to losing different parts of my brain. I gained some ignorance but would prefer awareness and giving myself the option to recall or manage experiences/knowledge.

Good luck! Rob

You are obviously too well educated to be blissful. Revel in the state that you are in. Stress and bother is what we thrive on, accept it and go and help the idiots out there.

Ignorance would only be bliss, if you were aware you were ignorant, and aware of your prior knowledge and burdens. To be aware of ignorance, one must not be ignorant...

...Therefore, the bliss is ignorance theory, is an unobtainable dream!

Because YOU are really much too much ignorant.
You wouldn't know if you were in bliss or not so that's why you are denied it.
