Drip is the best, and you don't want the water to boil, just short of boiling is the ticket, use a good coffee, it doesn't have to be fancy, my favorite is Folgers Colombian. As soon as brewing is complete, turn off warmer plate. leaving the warmer on will make the coffee oil become bitter.

It is all about the type of coffee, grind and how clean your brew method is. My preference is Starbuck's EXPPRESSO using their Barista expresso machine. I am on my third machine in 15 years. Have 1 at home and 1 at office right now!

I personally like a French Press because it brings out flavor and strength in the coffee, and I likes me a strong coffee!

I think French Press is the best way as long as you are drinking it fast.. since the coffee gets a little nasty after 20 min.
