The only think I can think of off hand without taking them to the vet is make sure they are warm and eating. Keep an eye on them. They may not be eating enough. Good luck with them.

First get mom and babies inside. The kittens are sick. They could have worms also. The mom also may be sick and passed her illness to them. Why didn't you get the mother tested also for FIV? If you can't afford to take them to a vet, take mom and babies to an animal shelter, ASPCA or Humane Society where they can get treatment. Have you tried speaking with your vet and see if you can't work out a payment plan with them. Many vet offices are willing to help. You would need to have a down payment at the time of services. My vet will hold a check for up to three weeks if you ask. I've had to do this in an emergency before. Why didn't you get your cats fixed, this would have prevented all the problems you have now. Check into a spay/neuter program to assist you in fixing your cats. The female needs to wait 6 weeks from time of birth of the kittens. Keep the female separate from the male in the mean time. I have a low income and I'm getting 2 cats, 1 kitten and 1 puppy fixed today. My vet is giving me a 30% discount for bringing all them in at one time. 3 of the 4 are rescues, the puppy I got 2 1/2 weeks ago was abandoned. The kitten getting fixed was sick when my son rescued him, he had worms and ear mites, was 1/2 his size. He looked like he was 5 weeks, but was 4 months due to the worms.

Hello, I've got 5 cats , 2of them are mother and daughter, mum's normal size, daughter still only looks like a kitten and she's 3 yrs now. The rest of the litter were another female and two toms. One of the toms and the other female are normal size, while the last tom is still as small as his sister. Cats come in all shape and sizes, like us really. As long as they feed ok I wouldn't worry too much about their size.
As for the sneezing and diarrhoea, could be cat flu if they didn't have a jab. All mine are outdoor cats, they get worms/fleas etc.etc. on the odd occasion. You can get stuff from most supermarkets or pet shops. Ask if they could assist. In any case, good luck in your quest, I hope my answer helped a little.

It could be that the mother wasn't able to produce enough milk to support them properly. I had a cat whose first litter was only two kittens. She was thin, and the kittens stopped developing after a couple months. I took them in and fed them soft food, they were starving to death. The mother couldn't provide milk, and their kitten teeth couldn't chew hard adult food. I still have one as a house cat. She's still small, and slightly under-developed (a snub nose). But she's ornery, and has to climb the Christmas tree every year. The mother's litters after that one were all normal.

Some cats never really get big. But it sounds like these babies are sick or perhaps have worms.

Try to find a way to get them to the vet. And meanwhile get Momma Cat spayed: Bearing and nursing babies takes a lot out of momma critters of any sort.

Good luck!

call a vet and tell them the symptoms. They should be able to help.
