Buy plugs which are pre-gapped.
Change them one at a time to keep the plug wires going to the correct plug. When you remove the rubber boot from the plug wiggle it left and right first to break the seal.

Start from the top (under hood area) replace any plugs you can easily get to.

Loosen the front wheel lugs. Jack up the front end, use jack stands. Then remove the front wheels. You should be able to get the rest of the plugs through the rubber flap area of the inner fenders. If not, try it from under the front.

Be careful not to overtighten the new plugs, breaking something doing that is very expensive.

take it to the dealer trust me had a 99 and now have an 02 limited
its not worth the time it is hard because it is distibutorless coil over plug the air box has to come off or at least the air tube going to the intake eacg plug has an 8 mm screw to hold the coil onto the plug pain in the *** toward the firewall

Put a little petrolium jelly on the thread so they will not get stuck in the blcok for the next time you do a tune up too.
