In my house we have two teenagers, we are trying to find software that helps us control their pcs though our home network and also track what sites they visit. Any Ideas??? Btw, we have already tried Anyplace COntrol.

well there are a bunch of software that you can install in their computers to monitor their traffic like Guardian Monitor. Or if you want to get more control find yourself a geek and setup a firewall proxyserver. a server based solutions will not allow you kids to stop it from doing its job. it works like this all internet communication like IM, mail, use a port and an Address. with a firewall and proxy server you can stop anyone. I have in my house for my kids cause I am a geek. I see everything and I can also stop it before it starts. I can block access to sites, or services. Pay some $$ fro good software. you are better off in the long run.

well...err....most teenagers know the basics, and it really depends. The most obvious would be to look up history. BUT you can delete that, and as a teenager myself theres a way to get round almost all software!

Firefox 2.0 saves a lot of info if you configure it to do so, but if they are smart enough to go into the tools menu they could do the opposite to prevent it from saving their data. Probably worth a go though.

it has a built in content filter so you can block what you don't want them to see,its prob. better to stop them before than trying to find out what they were up 2!!!!
