I am sure that it should be banned by the Christian churches because at the beginning of it, it talks about EVOLUTION. And we all know EVOLUTION does not exist, well ok it does but only in bacteria and other things, but certainly not humans because God snapped his fingers and farted and out came man and woman.

I think the thing to be concerned about is movies with a reaccuring theme of that which christians don't believe in, like a religion of another culture. If it is only mention or shown in the movie for five minutes, I see no harm, but if it is a reoccuring theme, I think it then becomes offensive to God, like Harry Potter, throughout the whole movie, there is nothing but praise and worship of witchcraft. Most people don't know that the spell work if used in the context of witchcraft, the spells in the book. And all Chrisyians are reading it and the ones I try to warn are looking at me like I am crazy to tell them not to read Harry Potter, even when I tell them I use to be Wicca and I know better then they do and the dangers of witchcraft. Well enough of my agenda.

actually, i like to think that xmen were creations of God and the movie is misinformed by the evolution theory. i believe that in the movie, God decided to create xmen to help civilization and that they were not mutations or mistakes(as the movie tries to point out)because God makes no mistakes. for instance, in xmen 3, when the boy with the wings was about to recieve the injection to change him into a normal human, he faught and escaped only to save his father later in the movie. if he didn't have the wings God gave him, his father would've died from the fall. anyway, I can see God in just about every movie made-no matter how the writer intends the message to be.

I'm a Christian and don't hate the movie X-men. But I take it as a movie and not seriously believe what it says.

I loved all 3 X-Men movies!

And if you read the first chapter of Genesis, you'll find evolution right there in the Bible: "And God said, 'Let the waters bring forth swarms of living creatures ... let the earth bring forth living creatures of every kind."

I wanted to watch the first one, but I got bored less than halfway through, so I've never seen any of them. I don't like it because it was boring. My husband (a Catholic), loves all three movies.
