We fill up a smallbucket with warm water by the door, and use a old rag to wash their paws off while dipping their feet in the bucket. Works pretty quickly.

Have your dog sit while still on a leash as soon as you come inside. Keep a cloth handy by the door, then wipe off your dogs' feet one paw at a time. It's good to make them sit and wait before being able to run free in the house, anyway, and it saves your house from getting muddy.

I leave a towel outside on the porch and wipe their muddy feets off before they come in the house.

We are lucky enough to have a garage; I keep a couple of old, ratty towels in there, and so when it's yucky outside we just clean off in there before heading into the house.
You might have luck keeping a little spray bottle of clean water and a dishtowel near your front door, in a hose box or planter, for when weather is bad. This way, when you get back home, you could give the dog a quick 'spray and wipe' at the front door before heading inside.

I used to train my dogs to stand just inside the door and wait their turn to get their paws wiped. Now that we had a house built, I have a door that shuts the utility room off to the main house. Put an old blanket on the floor, shut the door and let them come in from the outside to run around on the blanket for bout 15 min.

Go to your local walk-away-with-a-beer-in-a-bag- shop and buy some tall beer bags. Put these on with rubber bands and let the dog get as muddy as he likes...then just pull the bags off and wipe his feet with a towel. Or make him walk on a towel. That should help. Your mother will HUG YOU (or possible your wife?) for being so thoughtful and kind. Or be good to yourself...

We use an previous rag or towel and wipe the canines's feet in the previous he comes interior. If the airborne dirt and dirt is in basic terms too thick for that, attempt taking a bucket of heat water and dipping the canines's feet in it, THEN wiping them off. For longer haired canines, attempt preserving the hair on the paws trimmed as much as make for much less of a multitude.

I have a old towel by the door, so when I come in I wipe their feet off. Also now they are so used to it they stop by the door & wait for me to wipe their paws.

I wipe her feet with a old towel and tell her to go downstairs. The stairs have carpet on them. It keeps the dirt being tracked in to a minimum.
