hello Pithu
There is one line answer to your question. That is "be Authentic and true to yourself".
If you are true to your inner voice. do what is correct for you and see that it is in good of all others. Be a spectator of the events in your life.
Life is good, Enjoy it, live it fully. Even if you are in pain, sorrows etc, enjoy that also. So when happiness comes you will be balanced and vice-versa. Accept things as they are.
Forget about past and future. Past is over and will not come back. Future is a prediction, which changes based on your present actions. So live in now, the present moment.
Doing all this will make you a Yogi in your own sense and you will realise the truth sooner than anyone else.

Yes it is important to do so because it not only damages your relationship with others and discredits your truthfulness but it damages your relationship with Jehovah God. This is true because as the bible tells us, God cannot lie; and we must worship with spirit and truth. This includes how we relate to others and in ALL things that we do such as our worship to our heavenly father. If our choice of religion has any untruths in it then it is not true religion and is false worship. The best way to determine this is to do a personal study of your own; carefully comparing the scripture to see for your self what the bible says about such matters and any Jehovah's Witness would be happy to help you in your personal study and answer any questions you might have. What would this do for you? The only thing it COULD do is make you a BETTER person, either you will like what you find or you will know that it is not what you expected or both. You would develop a closer relationship with God and it would change how you live your life NOW. The bible tells us this means everlasting life your taking in knowledge of me and the one I sent forth Jesus Christ. It would improve:
1. Your family life
2. Your working relationship with others
3. Your school quality of work
4. Your self esteem
5. Your outlook on life
6. Your hope for the future
7. Your consideration of other people
8. Your priorities in life
9. Your knowledge and understanding of the bible
10. Your personal relationship with God and Jesus
Improving spiritually can and will improve all areas of your life. As the bible says, "Knock and you will find, seek and it will be given to you." The joy you will receive is something you will never regret and this will be the best way you can start your new year out.

"Dr. Jon KabatZinn PhD. has proven that meditation improves the cognitive areas of the brain, helping a person to deal with things, people, and situations clearly, with a sound, intelligent mind, while living in the present moment.
He states that meditation greatly helps people deal effectively with worry, anger, stress, depression, anxieties, bipolar, adhd, and many other unhealthy mental/emotional

Yes we should not cheat. But little lies to avoid misunderstanding is okay. Like you go to class late and give false excuses to the professor instead of saying that you were lazy!
Spirituality?
oh! Its a very difficult task!
First be very magnanimous and feel that you are experiencing the same "hurt" as any other human being is experiencing!
These days I dont think there is anyone like that.
R K Narayan had written once that "Every one seems to be a potential murderer".
