my aunty told me she has been doing perms for over 20 years, and even did my mums hair! so i have decided to go through with it, but are there any shampoos or conditioners anyone could reccommend as to stop my hair from drying out completely?

Try Paul Mitchell products or even Kera Care. You can buy those at a place like Dillard's or JCPenny's.

My hair is permed as well I permed my hair young and my hair was breaking so I knew my hair was dry.
So I bought Nexxus Therappe which I used in shampoo and deep conditioner. Instead of using their conditioner. I use Pantene for relaxed hair and women of colored .
A good hair oil to use though probably is Organics with Shea Butter and tea tree oil moisturizer. It gives your hair a glow when you use it.
Something even better then that was Infusium 23 maximum body formula for Limp and Fine hair.
Last but not least about every 2 months you should use some Garnier leave in conditioner because it is very good to thicken your hair but you can use the Pantene conditioner also to leave in or Olive oil tea tree oil.
So I hope you try some of these products they are all priced below 15.00 usd.

Don't wash your hair for a couple days before you perm it. Use finese everthing when you wash/sytle it and a diffuser on your blowdryer.

my sister has natural red curly hair, when i was 16, i dyed and permed my straight brown hair and even in pictures you really can't tell the difference. (not that i was jealous or anything - okay, maybe a little, but i'm almost 29 and so over it! :D)

Good Luck!

nicky clarkes shampoos and conditioners ( for curly/permed hair) are specially formulated for to protect ur hair from further damage, and will have the nutients in it to help keep ur perm tight. also use alil serum on ur perm, it locks in moisture and protects ya hair from heat damage! hope that helps, and im glad u had the perm! good luck!!

my mum used to get her hair permed and said that nexxus humectress conditioner was great, if you dont want to pay that much for nexxus then suave has one called suave professionals humectant and suave also has the shampoo to go with the conditioner. if youd rather use the real nexxus humectress then you could use it with the suave humectant shampoo. good luck!

i imagine that i change into continuously extra mature than all and multiple else my age, and persons see that throughout me. i'm 21 now, yet I tend to be responsive like i'm 35 years previous as a change of my authentic actual age. notwithstanding, even as i change into an adolescent, my emotions of revolt ran rampant, so on the age of 15 i change into attempting out and experimenting with my sexuality. i realized who i change into meant to be on the age of 17, so as that is even as (even for being extra mature than maximum), i fairly "grew up".

Would this be head perm, chest perm, upper lip perm or a pubic perm?

I recommend you also buy something to replace the hair you might lose.
