I'm dating a nice guy,it's 4 months we are together...I'm happy!! The thing is that my mom and some of my friends against this relationships cause he is russian as I...and all of them keep saying that i should find an american guy,to get married and stay here,and they are asking me all the time "Why you went to the USA?You could find a russian guy here..."my mom says : "Stop seeng him at all! don't comunicate with him and his friends"!!
she doesn't even know him,nobody knows,but everybody think that I'm doing mistake dating wit russian guy in USA!! I don't know what to do...we quarrel with my mom all the time we speak on the telephone!! What should I do to make my mom to stopsaying what she is saying and do what she is doing?

It is your life and not your mothers opinion you need to focus on. I know about family obligations, I was born in Romania so I know all about the traditional family obedience thing, but you are here now. It is more important that you are with someone you like because of who they are and not what they are. If he is a citizen of the US, then tell your mom that he is an American.

Lets say you marry this guy or any other guy for thatmatter. ask yourself these questions.
1) Who will help pay the house bill?
2) Who will take care of the kids.
3) Who will tend me when I'm sick.
4) Who will listen to all my bull and console me when I'm sad.
5) Who will I celebrate valentines day with.
6) Who wil I have sex with?
The list of questions go on and on. The answer to all those questons especially #6 is the same. There are some things that you do with a mate period. In the end if the person pasing opinion doesn't pay the bill, doesn't sleep with you or doesn't do anything that a couples do then they should butt off.
Marying a person from another country has its pros and cons. Cons can be things lke misunderstanding with comunication. There are difference in culture and that could create some friction. There are also visa problems. Well, maybe it al depends. Other than that a guy is a guy is a guy. If you can live with the differences then who cares. Is your life and you only get one chance at it.

This is no mistake!! Love rules all and if You both really love each other than your doing the right thing by being together!! If your mom and friends still don't agree with you your friends are not friends, friends support one anothers decisions and your mom needs to leave you be!! Happiness is the best gift you can recieve!!!

Your mom is against of her because she doesn't know about him. Try to tell your mom those good habit of your Russian guy that make you closer to him. this will make her know about him. While telling about him make sure you are convincing her not arguing.

As long as he treats you good, follow your heart and ignore what everyone else is telling you. Assuming you are at least 18, tell your mom that you are an adult and ask that she respects your decision. Tell her that it is no longer up for discussion.

if you love him, stay with him.No one can't stop love from happening. Yuor mom and her friends do'nt rule your life or yuor relationships.You love him, they don't. stay with him true love comes around once, don't pass it up!
