Conscious memory is very unlikely but somatic memory may be a possibility. For example they might retain some type of memory of the trauma that caused them to be available for transplant but it is not likely to be a memory that would cause the recipient to know or remember the trauma. They may retain some type of awareness of for example of the food likes of the donor. The recipient might become aware of a craving or at least a liking of some food they did not particularly want or like before.
