yes,if the doc is on top of things...ms can show up on the imaging of the brain. also ms is tricky it may not show up on the brain scan at all,but u still may have the disease.....it really varies between each person,and how advanced the disease has gotten.

Yes the definite diagnosis of MS is made by an MRI that shows at least 6 white plaques on an MRI

Not necessarily. You can show lesions (or spots) on your brain that may be caused from other diseases like epilesy. MS is diagnosed through and number of tests and symptoms. I had an MRI in 1998 and did not have major symptoms until early 2000. It was only then that I was diagnosed.

If the doctor knows what he's lookin' at then yes. Not all will catch it if they're not looking for it.
