no...because you will end up breaking up anyway and you dont want to wreck your friendship even more. it is better to have a true friendship then have a enemy.

It sounds like no matter how hard either one of you tries to turn your friendship into a relationship things go haywire. Sometimes best friends don't have to turn into any thing more. If you both have done this more than once, I would not recommend it anymore. Let him know it can't work and why, but be polite and sincere and just explain what happens when you guys go that route and the consequences. Also explain you don't want to lose his friendship, but if he's the type that's always "all or nothing" I'd keep him at arm's length. I know it doesn't sound very nice, but sometimes in situations you can't really be "nice" to get your point across. Best wishes!!

Sound's like your in a pickle.. Ask him what he want's from you in a relationship? You already have the relationship of being best friends, what more does he want.. What do you want from him? You do decided to go back to him and things don't work out, things aren't really going to be the same, even with them promises.. He might just turn into a friend instead of a best friend.. It's really up to you.. Can you find a way were both of you win in this situation? Good luck..

Seems like you had a "friends with benefits" moment. But three years with dating screwed your friendship? No, it seems like no boundaries were set when you established this friendship. You broke it off and now you will become friends again...are you sure you want to repeat this cycle? He may be a great guy...and promises can be broken. If you set boundaries, deciding whether to accept his friendship or not, you and him should do fine....if he wants you as a friend, that is.

You should go back out with him. That is all in your state of mine that your friendship will be messed up. if you go out with him as friends it shouldn't matter. What yall two are togther.

i reckon you should go for. If your such good friends and it goes wrong you will be able to make it up. But you haven't said whether you really want to go out with him again.
