Me and this guy have gone out on what i call dates 4 times now. this last time we went to his normal hang out and everyone knew alot about me and i didn't know any of them. and when they said o this is your ...he jumped in and said friend from work. so i was kinda confused but they knew what we just got done doing together to. but then we went back and watched tv for like 4 hours together and i decided i better leave to go do homework and he gave me a copy of his favorite cd that he thought i would like. when i left he kinda started to get up but didn't so i still haven't gotten even a hug from him...so im so confused on whether he likes me or not

Aww that's so cute. He most definitely likes you, but isn't sure how you feel and seems a bit scared of rejection so he is really trying to feel out the situation before he makes his move.... a lot of time and effort has been put into you! Maybe you should make the first move!?

Sounds like he likes you but maybe confused about what you feel about him? He's not a mind reader, maybe he needs to hear you say something about liking him before he goes any farther into this relationship. If that's too risky to do (and I can see how it might be) you could ask him to clarify what he said to his friends.
Start the conversation like this: "I am confused. When we were at _____, you referred to me as your co-worker. I see us as being more than just co-workers." Stop there. Let him take up the conversation; see where he goes with it. Some guys are just not talkers. He may be thinking, "I gave you my favorite CD. That should show you how much I care." Women are different. We have to hear words to go with the actions. You will never really know what he feels unless something is said, and it sounds like you are going to have to be the one who initiates the conversation. Whether his response is what you want to hear or not, at least you will know where you stand with him. Then you can decide whether or not to continue trying.
No matter what the outcome, keep your self-respect. Don't give your self to another if that person does not appreciate you. Guys may come and go, but YOU are with you forever.

all i have to say is that if you two have gone out like four times then the guy must like you and don't worry he is only doing that so that his friends won't mess with him and that his friends won't turn on him. Do not worry he will hug you and do that kind of stuff again if he won't say that you two are going out in front of his friends then he is a jerk. if i was you then i would set him down and talk to him about it and if that does not work then you should get rid of the guy then that may get to him and then he may relize that you mean what you say.

sounds like he is kinda shy. He is nurvous around you. Maybe you should just give him a hug. See what happens and maybe talk to him about it.
