I know a dead beat who isn't making car payments and refuses to call back the dealership (since it was leased) to turn the car in. Is there anyway I can report the whereabouts of the car anonymously? They think he still lives in another state but he actually moved 6 months ago.

Just take a picture of the car including the license plate, type a short note on your computer, and throw it into an envelope without a return address to the dealer. That should do it.

That is terrible. You must name the Police, and if you're inclined to press expenses on him, accomplish that. If you desire to make use of one more method, file him as a "Missing Person". In the intervening time, get the ones playing cards and financial institution account so as. Also, I'd difference the locks on my door, and seem right into a Lawyer. I am sorry to mention this, however, this could flip me away within the Faith of my marriage. I am so sorry to listen to approximately this. Those bank cards have got to be removed, or said as stolen. Get a hint at the Credit Card Usage earlier than getting rid of this, too. Since this Bank Account is joint, you could have each correct to look in which any tests are being written, additionally. I'd begin a brand new Bank Account with most effective your title on it, too. Good success & Take Care!

First poster is right on!
Only thing I would add is to call the dealership yourself (block your number) make up some story about a sick sister and that you need the address to make payments for a lease, they will sing like a jaybird with the information! Then send one to the dealership directly and one to the finance company too.
That way you can be sure that more than one set of eyes is looking at it!

If you truly think you have to get involved? Simply call the dealership from a pay phone and ask for the finance department. Then tell them where their vehicle can be found.

Believe me, they will be thankful.
