Well, Jesus was guilty of a little name calling himself, but I guess it depends on the situation. Would he approve of a Christian calling an Atheist a heathen? Sure.

Probably not but then again if you keep taunting and offending peoples' beliefs then undoubtedly you get what you deserve.

Do you all honestly believe that you all can come in here to YA ridiculing Christian beliefs with perpetual and disrespectable sarcasm and then expect everyone to just take that kind of abuse and not have the right to defend their beliefs?

There are some people on here who do take their religious beliefs more seriously than others.

hmmm...I've heard some people say regardless of "judge lest ye be judged," thay its okay for them to judge people if they are bearing witness to bring people closer to god. I bet these same folks think name calling on his behalf is okay too. Look at how many different religions that we have, its amazing how people try to fit things to their own perspective and agenda. Do I think Jesus would approve?..............I say definately not.

The only name calling that Jesus did was when He called the religious leaders of His day serpents, having a form of godliness but denying the power there of.

Of course he did. I mean those folks at Operation Rescue are outstanding representatives of the christian religion.

He was also deep into politics. You know, give unto Caesar what is Caesar's etc. Just ask Dr. Dobson at Focus on the Family.

It's easy to use a fictional messiah to justify almost any action... even if it's hate spewing and name calling.
