The Baha'i (or B'hai) faith would be the only one I can think of that might be close to what you are looking for. For more info on this religion, go here:

You might also look at the Unitarian Universalist church.

Derek:
I remember something vaguely from a class I took in seminary that said that the geographic regions where Sufism, the mystical wing of Islam, developed were regions where there was a lot of contact between Christians and Muslims and therefore a lot of syncretism. Of course, I may be remembereing this incorrectly, the statement may have been more hypothesis than fact, and the source may have been a poor one.
Anyway, perhaps the Unitarian Church or the Ba'hai faith might be places where you will feel like you can explore your faith a little bit more. also, I would encourage you to look for a Christian Church (perhaps the United Church of Christ or the Disciples of Christ) that is open to your exploration of another faith in the midst of a supportive Christian community.
Never stop searching, and good luck on the journey.

There is no official religion that is a synthesis of the two religions. They do both come from the father Abraham and many have tried to create unity based on this fact. I would be more than willing to discuss with you your doubts about Christianity. I have studied Islam, I have read portions of the Qur'an and spoken to Islamic leaders in a mosque. So I am informed about both religions. I am a Christian. But I am open-minded, rational, and patience. SO feel free to IM me or EMAIL me.
You may be interested in Baha'i. This is a mixture of many major world religions. However they say that but if you ever visit a temple they seem to just talk about the Baha'i leaders and unique aspects of their faith.

Well, most of the teachings of Islam and Christianity overlap in the Old Testament. The only major split between the two religions is the divinity of Jesus Christ (pbuh). Christians believe him to be the true Son of God, whereas Muslims believe he is a Prophet. Another point of argument is the Last Prophet, Mohammed (pbuh). Christians do not believe he was told Allah's word through the angle Gabriel, which he then dictated and is recorded as the Quran.

I understand exactly how you feel. I have never understood why anyone needs a title on their beliefs. I have studied with many different faiths and different denominations and I have never converted to any. I am currently studying and leaning towards Islam because my husband is Muslim. For me Islam is the most logical religion I have studied and it provides me with the most answers.
All I can really say is follow your heart, love God, be a good person and don't be so worried with putting a name on your beliefs. Allah/God knows your heart and that is most important.

Yes. What your beliefs are--are between you and God. You do not need a building, priest or imam to worship God. Put all your beliefs and opinions together, always seek to have a closer understanding of the Koran, Bible, Torah and God, practice the good works asked of you by those holy books and there you have it---your own personal Christian, Islamic and Judeo religion.

I am a muslim convert. I convert about 5 years ago. I was in doubt of Christianity at the time, because I was raised as one, but never fully understand of agreed with what was told to me ( Jesus being son of God ?!... or the trinity ?!)...
I went to the mosque one day, and found much help to make me draw the line between both. I also made some friends muslims, from different countries to have diversity in answers ( as one source is not enough). I have friends from Iraq, Iran, Egypt, Lebanon, Syria, Yemen, Palestine, Emirates... I asked them lots of questions when i was confused. And may Allah bless them all for being so helpful in my search for the truth. My husband is Iraqi (may Allah bless him too). He is the most wonderful man i could ever met on Earth, and I say this from deep in my heart. He taught me Islam the way it is taught in the Qu'ran and Shari'a (Islamic laws). I fully converted and I am even now wearing hijab(veil). I am so happy, and I live my life to the fullest I can assure this. I pray to Allah everyday, and feel so great to do so. My life has been a blessing, and all the people around me are so great and helpful. My family did not take it as good, but with time, it went ok with them. They now accept me as their Muslim child (my whole family being Roman Christian).
All i can say for you to find the truth, which ever will be, is to read the most you can, from different sources, different people, different books. When you have questions, don't let it hang, don't hesitate to ask, muslims and christian alike. I hope this will help you. And may Allah help you in your searches. Amen.

I think what you should do is question and research the problems you have with both religions. For example if it Shariah Law in Islam, take a look at crime rates on sites like www.nationmaster.com and see if it actually works. Or just try to find the justification behind it, for example why would God sacrifce his son for mankinds sins.
