we all want to look and act our best in the early stages of dating... but at what point is it acceptable to blatantly swear in front of a prospective partner?
for instance, on a first date, if a woman reaches across the candle lit table to give her companion a peck on the cheek and accidentally sets her hair on fire, would it be an acceptable time for her to state, "oh dear*, my hair has turned into a raging inferno!"?..
likewise if a guy whilst cutting his fillet mignon, accidentally slipped and impaled the steak knife into his hand, would it be appropriate to exclaim "mother dearest* that hurts, would you mind passing a napkin to stem the blood flow!"…
*please substitute for your preferred profanity…

I always try and slip in a few expletives just after the the soup. To test the water.
But as a general rule, before you swear use a few terms like "drain the lizard" or "touching cloth". If she's still there by the dessert It's time for a four-letter fiesta.

I used to start with, my god you look like a right f*cking state- make an effort love
But then I slowly learned, not all women like this
Now I usually wait for the second date, and say here love get your minge out, let me see the money, come on .....
which again, has mixed results ...
I'm probably not the best person to ask if I'm brutally honest

There is never a time to use profanities even if you have known someone for years. If a person cannot express themselves without resorting to bad language, then they cannot speak proper English. There are many words in our language that can be used in any situation without having to swear. Can you go for a whole day without swearing. ? try it and see how far you get.

the use profanities are unacceptable but if you are the sort of person that likes to swear or swears then i guess you might as well stay true to yourself rather than pretend to be someone your are not for the benefit of someone else.

Be like me. Don't swear at all, whatever the provocation.
And if you believe that, you can knit fog!
Seriously though, DO leave it for a few meetings at least!
