I wouldn't say that.
Most men want ladies to be respectful - mostly around other guys.
What that means is not to overtalk them or bring attention to yourself with other guys around.
Now, what that REALLY means is that they guy has self-esteem issues.
This means that he feels inferior to you (due to physical attractiveness) and he doesn't want to feel like YOUR trophy. :)
Seriously, this is real talk.
