No I'm afraid not. I use it for my job and for my family to get hold of me whilst I'm on the road. Funny how something that was once a luxury, now has become a necessity.

I am very happy not to own a cell phone much to the disbelieve of friends and colleagues, if they need me I must be the only person around who still has a land line or they all have my work telephone number and can use that.

When the cell phone rings on the train everyone immediately panics trying to find the thing and then comes the inevitable question Where are you the answer on the train, considering it is 5.30 where would I be, after that comes the conversation that everyone must hear why! I am defiantly a grumpy old woman cell phones are an item I can live without and not become one of the gang still remain an individual.

Yes. I have been a cruise a couple of times and could not use it. It kind of sucks. I really do feel lost with out it. And my new cell phone will play music (when it gets here) and I met I will become evern more addicted to the dang thing.

Sure what is so hard about not using your cell phone for a day. Is yours attached to you ear or something? (just kidding) I go for days on end without using mine.

Why indeed should I want to? Their use is now just as much part of normal life as turning on a light. Do we really wish to set fire to a bunch of sticks dipped in animal oil? Do we wish to use smoke signals or drums to communicate, most of us I suspect would have to say not really.
