Happy Birthday!
How long have you been together? If this your first year together and you have not celebrated your birthday together before I'd forgive him sooner than if it isnt.
Are you really sure he's forgotten? Maybe he has a surprise for you for later on? If not I'd remind him in a subtle way by telling him what your friends got you, or go out with your friends tonight. I dont know what kind of guy he is so I cant say dump him or not. If he's a tosser, dump him, if not, then dont let this come between you.

Well I would like to take this opportunity to wish you a Happy Birthday! As for your boyfriend, the day isn't over yet. Are you sure he isn't planning some sort of surprise? If nothing happens by late on tonight I would tell him. If he is completely oblivious then the fact that he remembered his ex's birthday will speak volumes. I would end the relationship if this is the case. It will be painful but you deserve a man who will remember your birthday and celebrate it with you. Good luck :-)

Hi, Happy Birthday, xxdeb_bad,
I hope you have a super, fortunate year.
Now, as for your guy, it depends on how much you love him.
If you love him a lot and want him in your life, bite your tongue and celebrate tomorrow. My guess is, if he really has forgotten, a large slice of humble pie is in order. He will fall over himself to make it up.
However, if, when he realises, he has a defencive, attitude and gets angry with you, perhaps you should have a good talk; and then make the big decision...

He shouldn't be giving his ex any type of gift or b day acknowledgement.
That it what is wrong here.
About him forgetting your birthday, that is not as much an issue.
At our third year of marriage, I forgot my hubbie's 30th b day! I felt HORRIBLE and I think I felt worse than he did!
He was a sweet heart and didn't make a huge issue about it because he could see how mad at myself I was. He knew I was punishing myself enough.
And life goes on.
I would keep an eye on him and his ex, tho. If he cheats on you or goes back to her, don't be shocked.

Happy Birthday!!!!!
If he was with his Ex for a while hes hardly going to forget hers and if you've only been going out a short time maybe he did just forget - my advice remind him every day till your next birthay that he forgot this one - If you really like him is it worth breaking up over??

i dont know how long you've been going out or how long him and his ex was togather but that may be some thing to think about. i myself am not a big birthday person but happy birthday anyway and i hope things work out for you. but i dont think you should break up with some one just because he forgot . good grief i cant even remember my wedding anniverisary i just remember that i loved him and i married him and the dates dont mean that much to me however he always remembers.

My husband forgot once he went to the chemist when he remembered,i got a battery operated toothbrush and some hair bobbles,it would of been better if he just got nothing.Don't worry about it,you probably would of felt equally as let down with an unthoughtful pressie!

Hi hun, happy birthday?
Is Racyragtop really your fella? If he is I hope you have a lovely time, if not, I think you should wait and see if he has planned a surprise. If he hasn't I really think you will have to sit down and have some serious words with him!

happy birthday love. Well that's certainly a most maddening thing to happen- I think you should remind him- tell him you'd like to go out tonight, and if that has upset you bout him remembering her bday let him know, I wouldn't let it pass coz he'll start taking you for granted otherwise
