Perhaps the way I am picturing this is incorrect, please let me know your input if you think I’ve got it all wrong!
What I have been thinking is that Christians (generally) believe that:
- God made the Universe and all the planets, including Earth and then,
- God made Man, Adam and Eve, one day after completing the creation of Earth
To me, science has proved that man and dinosaurs never co-existed.... SO, this leads me to have a few questions:
*Do Christians believe that God created Man one day after he created Earth and that we've been living here ever since that day of creation? (This just doesn't make sense to me when I factor in the millions and millions of years dinosaurs ruled the Earth.)
*Where did man go at the time of the dinosaurs, if man was created basically at the same time as the creation of the Earth?
*When did man “show up again” after the Dinosaurs were gone?
*And HOW did man come to be again after the dinosaurs were gone?
Please do not be rude to me in your answers. This is such a sincere question; I’m not in any way trying to be offensive to any of you! Thanks all!

Honestly, it seems to me that even those of you who are answering in support of Christianity seem as confused as I am about this whole thing. That’s my biggest problem with all religions (not only Christianity). I would “like” to have religion in my life, because I can see that its value. However, I can’t bring myself to blindly believe whatever the Bible happens to have written.

Hello, hello!
I'm a Christian and when I was faced with this question, I really struggled at first. Biblical evidence like Job 40:15-24 helped. I know someone else already cited this passage, but if you read carefully, God isn't describing a hippo or an elephant or a dragon...Is it really that far-fetched for humans to have co-existed with dinosaurs?
I don't want to call your logic "flawed" however, the Bible says, God created Man on the sixth day, not the second or first...or whatever you said =)
An underlying issue that contributes to the controversy is the fact that many Christians (and non-Christians alike!) don't believe that the earth has been around for "millions upon millions of years," but more like thousands! If you're interested, I could provide you with more evidence.
I must warn you though, not to base your belief in the Christian faith solely upon the words in Genesis. Though I take these words for God's literal truth, to disregard the rest of the message of the Bible is a very dangerous thing to do.
Good luck on your quest!
Amy

God created the evolution of the universe, this includes the planet you and I inhabit. Evolution was not invented by Darwin, no more than Newton invented gravity. These two men just discovered what always was by God's hands.
You ask of dinosaurs. It is a word you cannot find in the Bible, not the King James version nor the Latin version, nor the New International version. It is a word that wasn't even in existence until the late eighteenth century.
Our Bible wasn't completed as we know it until the first century A.D. and it wasn't translated into English until the thirteenth century. So you won't find the word in our Bible.
However....
You will find passages that allude to these great beasts. You can find it in the book of Job. The first twenty-nine verses of the forty-first chapter gives a great description of such a creature. As well throughout the Old Testament creatures described as Leviathan, Behemoths, and such are peppered throughout the books.
The evolution of man can be traced back seventy millenniums and more, well after God created the rest of the world. But what we can not trace is the point of our evolution where God breathes the life of Soul into us.
We Christians, and Jews believe that our race,(the human race) was created relatively close to the end of the age of the dinosaurs. I say relatively because time is relative.
There were no men before the dinosaurs, nor during their reign here,so that answers the questions on where we were during the age of dinasaurs, when we showed up after,or how we came to be again after the beasts were gone.
Four thousand five hundred years ago when men first became aware of God. When God first showed Himself to us...do you think that we had a vast amount of knowledge in physics? Do you believe we had the answers to the science of flight? Could we explain the "big bang theory"?
No...obviously we could not have had that knowledge. So do you think God would have spoken to us in mathematics, modern physics,or in the astronomy of the Hubble Telescope?
He spoke to us in a way that we could understand.
"In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. Then God said, "Let there be light"; and there was light.
That.. Abraham,Isreal, and Moses could understand! Einstiens theory of relativity was way out of their league.
E=MC2 was too much information. God knew one day we would figure that out by ourselves. But for that time so long ago..."let there be light" was more than sufficient.
One of the great myths of today is that a Christian is an idiot looking for a crutch. This is far from the truth. If you come to the door and answer a knock....only to find the Christ there, then you have to be able to think in a very tough and intelligent manner to make any sense of His presence in our life. Because once you open the door to Him, you have to engage your intelligence in ways you never thought possible.
There are a million mysteries to God's creation, there are a million mysteries in the secular world, and a million more in the sciences. We will know them soon enough. In the mean time know that He created a very powerful creature in you and I. We should not doubt that His love for us will see us through our intelligent questions we have for Him.
Questions that have to do with dinosaurs and men.He will answer one way or another. Sooner or later. Answers do come.
God bless you and take care.

First of all man and dinosaur did co-exist. Dinosaurs are not millions of years old. Article from Discover Magazine Dr. Schweitzer found T-Rex bones from Hell Creek, Montana, with soft fresh looking tissue. It smelled with a distinctly cadaverous odor. Dr. Schweitzer was having a hard time getting her work published because evolutionists said her work proved creation and not evolution. This article comes from Discovery Mag, July 2005 #27.

Creationontheweb.com, calls their article Schweitzer's Dangerous Discovery. This proves that dino's are not millions of years old, thousands, but not millions. A tragic event, such as a flood, would cause these creatures to be fossilized.

In the book of Job, in the Bible, God talks to Job about Behemoth. Behemoth has the tail the size of a Cedar of Lebanon. A Cedar of Lebanon has a diameter of around 100ft. It says that its bones are like pieces of iron. Job also talks about leviathan. Leviathan is so fierce that none dare stir him up. His scales are so tight that no air can come between them, and they can not be torn assunder. Leviathan even has flames coming out of his mouth. He makes white water, like boiling water, when he swims. Even David in Psalm 104:26, tells about leviathan.

The Chinese tell of stories where men fought large "lizards." That is what Dinosaur means large lizard. You can call these stories, fairy tales, but where do you think all the stories came from. Men fighting the dragon.

Science is limited by the limitations of the human intellect and observation. Scientific theories change over time as new observations show that old theories are inaccurate. The Bible is not science but divine reve;ation. It is a message from God who created everything. If God created the earth, i think it is reasonable to assume that he knows its early history better than scientists who can only make an educated guess about it.

If one really studies the Bible, they will see that there are three ages mentioned. The first age was before lucifers downfall. This was the time that dinos walked this earth. When satan/lucifer tried to take over the mercy seat, it angered YHVH (God) and YHVH shook this earth;...thus the end of the dinos and the first heaven and earth age. We are now living in the second age;...the age of flesh man. Job in the Bible was taken to the first age and shown what had been. John in the Bible was taken to the third age and shown what is to come,...thus writing the book of Revelation which means to be revealed or the uncovering. These words written are prophesy for us today. The third age will be an eternal age where we return to our spiritual bodies, which are our true bodies and those judged to be righteous will live eternally with YHVH God The Father.

They are going to tell you about a vague description of some mythical creatures in the Bible called leviathon and behemoth. There is no factual basis for this, so just stick with what you already know to be true. Dinosaurs preceded humans by almost 65 million years.

The great flood killed off the dinosaurs. Noah and his family, which survived the great flood got off the ark. In science this seems to be the beginning of the homo-sapien race. It is believed that dinosaurs died before humans existed, but truly, humans were around before this time. When dinosaurs were created, Adam and Eve were still in the Garden of Eden. This means that no animal attacked another, because the world was still perfect, before Adam and Eve failed. This is my guess, I hope it helped.

Really, if you think about it, you should be worshipping dinosaurs. Dinosaurs were real. We have proof. However, we have no proof that God exists. We don't even have fossils from god's past, which makes no sense since supposedly god has been around since infinity. You should be worshipping dinosaurs because they paved the way for birds, then small mammals, then large mammals, then humans. Therefore, dinosaurs, not God, created you, me, and all human civilization. Pretty cool right?

1. I havnt actually asked that God made us for definite, Ive always just assumed it. I know that some things are far to complex for us to understand at this point in time. 2. I believe the bible not to be of Gods words, and instead just a bunch of stories with only a little truth buried in it. Not that I have read the bible but I know the whole set heaven and hell idea posed in it is completely ridiculous (Spirit world actually has many levels). 3. Try meditation, but you must remember that God is a force not a spirit being. So it can show itself in human form, but only as you imagine him/it to be. Its actually both male and female. The best thing would be to imagine what you think God would look like, or go on google images or something and then meditate. It will take a while at first. Once you have seen God once, it will then just show you as the force that it is, like a while light bright loving force. Jesus is of course much easier to see, because he is a spirit and can visit in that way. But he only came to us once when it was literally a matter of life and death so I dont know if youd have much luck there. But im sure you would again with meditation. 4. We get sick because of karma and karma from past lives. In fact when Jesus came it was to help my mum with spiritual healing when healing a baby girl from meningitis. So it would have been karma for the parents of that girl to suffer from the suffering of their child. Healing in this way will always work in the sense of bringing pain relief and such things, but sometimes when a person is meant to go they are meant to go. But you can make the process much easier for them. 5. I dont know how many gods there are, or if all the gods are the same god because I only have experience of one. I personally think that they are all the same (because he can show itself in different ways). 6. I personally believe we often mistake this for our guardian angels and such things. Because a message from spirit world could come from a range of different spirits, angels or God. 7. Why not? I can tell you now ive seen some very strange things and have just given up on the fact that anything is possible. Although I do not know the details of this at all, and I know that the bible is mainly stories. But I do know her to exist. Il ask about that one thanks. 8. I can tell you now its not God. Its got some seriously corrupting stuff in there. I suppose there are a couple of things in there that have an element of truth, but most things have just been warped to cause fear and such things. 9. As I have said, I have no real interest in the bible. 10. Again, no idea 11. Ditto 12. ....... 13. I dont know if he did or didnt. But it wouldnt surprise me in the slightest if it were true. Because he is such a fantastic healer. The girl dying of meningitis I mentioned before. Well they had literally told her parents to prepare for her death. its was almost inevitable. She came out of hospital later that same week. And now you think im probably crazy. But I have just given you the truth and thats all I can really do.

It is my understanding that when God created the animals, he also created the dinos, because they are animals. They would have been taken on the ark as eggs or as baby dinos. I have concluded that since giants (Genesis 6-Nephilim) were on the land at one time and there was NO ice age, these giants required a lot of food to eat, three times a day and thus hunted and ate a lot of dinos, even gave into cannibalism to feed their hunger, which would explain why there isn't too many dinos around today. Even after the flood, there was still giants and once again, they have to eat.
