I have a Cape Cod style home that has a tub upstairs with one end that's under the eave. I'd like to make it into a shower. The walls and slanted ceiling over it are just regular finished drywall. How do I make this tub into a shower? thks

I would cut a trough in the ceiling from the slant wall (probly where the controls are) and run the shower pipe from the controls, up the wall, across the ceiling to the end not under the eves. Put the shower head into the pipe end so it points straight down from the ceiling but make sure it's inside the confines of the tub. You can then buy a shower rod that will circle the open side of the tub and around the open end... why don't they put shower heads from the ceiling anyway? Why always the wall, pointing at you instead of down on you?... hmmmm...

Good Luck!

Putting the showerhead on the ceiling is a great idea. Also put the controls on the wall that has the higher ceiling. The wall with the lower ceiling, across from it, you should build in a bench seat, to sit on or for shaving your legs, etc, etc.....
