There are no difinitive results to any "ex gay" programs. It's their statement that homosexuality is wrong. Ted Haggard will probably always be bisexual, but he has only learned to suppress his feelings towards men. It doesn't mean they aren't there, they are just made to feel so dirty that he is conditioned now to feel bad about them. It's kind of sick. But this is what the Christians call saving people.

Isn't this about like claiming that a diabetic no longer has diabetes because he doesn't take insulin? This story sounds a lot like a PR maneuver to help Haggard save whatever is left of his career and his wealth. The only way to be sure that he is "cured" is to send him to San Francisco for the weekend, put a few drinks in him, give him access to gay porn, and a pass to a bathhouse...and then see what happens.
Just as the diabetic can only do so much to control their diabetes, it appears highly probable that Haggard can only do so much to conceal and/or control his sexual identity. Of course, the chief difference between the diabetic and Haggard is this: diabetes is an illness. Sexual orientation is not.

No, i don't have self belief he's even a million% heterosexual. The male escort whom he change into seeing for 3 years, did are expecting that Haggard ought to bypass into some rehab and are available out thoroughly "cured" of his homosexuality -- precisely what occurred!

Talk about the biggest scam artist. This is a man who made a living by guilting people into making monetary donations by accusing them of being sinners. Hundreds of times in the middle of his sermons he would bring up how wrong homosexuality is. Just one more example of the evangelical right following certain leaders blindly.

Maybe he really isn't gay or bisexual and never was. Who knows what was going on in his mind. It is not up to us to judge. Additionally, there really isn't sufficient proof/evidence as to the source of being gay. There are theories, but that's it. I look forward to the day when we do really know, but until then we should just respect all people regardless of who they are, and why they say they are that way.

That guy is the biggest homo I've ever seen in my life. He's gay. I should know. I'm gay myself and I can tell. He'll be craving the sausage until the day he dies. Don't be surprised when he commits suicide, because that's usually what happens to homosexuals who try to "cure" themselves. It's sad, really.

Actions speak louder than words. Remove candy from a young child but leave it in sight, they will find a way to get to it. Same thing here. All the counseling in the world isn't going to "cure" this mans soul. He needs to be healed from God and that will only happen when he admits to God his wrong and is truly repentant.

I honestly don't know, but there are programs that deal with homosexuality in a few churches that have helped some stop that life style. I personally believe it would take deliverance. I wish him well, but wouldn't go to his church until he proved himself.Time will tell.
